Hi, I'm El... I keep the web sexy.

I'm a 31 year old senior-level web designer with lots of experience in web and user-interface design, user experience, usability, branding, and email marketing.

I grew up in Fall River, MA, and started drawing at a very young age. I always assumed I would end up doing something art-related, but never knew what. In my sophomore and junior years of college, I was introduced to design and animation, but it wasn't until my senior year that I was introduced to interactive media.

I graduated college with honors and received my BFA in visual design. Upon graduating, I had developed a wide portfolio of design skills including animation (2D and 3D), fine art, graphic design, typography and interactive media.

I quickly focused on interactive media and was fortunate to get an entry-level production job right out of college doing CD-ROM production and development for Prentice Hall textbooks. Starting my career off as an entry-level production artist allowed me to learn the creative process quickly from other designers, and creatives above me. I picked up so many things throughout the years that they just don't teach you in college... Many of them, in my first year of work. Fortunately for me, I've been part of some great creative teams that made my career path easier along the way.

After years of dedication and hard work (and deadlines, long hours, new trends, standards, best-practices, brand guidelines, software updates), I believe there is always room and opportunity for growth and to continue learning.

Ten years of experience in the field has given me the knowledge to develop successful creative, from start to finish. I pride myself in handling each project with professionalism and perfectionsism, down to the very last pixel.

My approach is simple:
» understand the client and their product
» understand the audience
» deliver the message as quickly and easily as possible — whether it be email, web or print
